Arielle is an approximately 2 year old fawn Doberman that came to us from a high-kill shelter in SC. Shortly after coming into rescue, during a routine veterinary check up we found out that Arielle was pregnant and due in two weeks or less.
Arielle has now had her puppies and she’s trying to be a good momma, but she has developed a uterine infection and we had to take her to an Emergency Vet on Thanksgiving Day for IV antibiotics. She has since been moved to a regular Vet for continued monitoring and medication.
While we are committed to caring for Arielle, this has been a large, unforeseen expense that GDR was not prepared for. We are asking for donations to help us cover their very expensive care so we can make sure they can get everything they need.
Will her puppies be available for adoption?
Hi Lauren. Yes, they will be! We will be posting an update about them soon once we have some info on them from the vet that is taking care of them. Once they turn 8 weeks old, they will be available for adoption. 🙂
any puppies left and are they mixed
Does Arielle still need a home?
I would love a puppy
